Itachi… an excellent reason Naruto is awesome.
And did I miss something? Wasn’t Naruto supposed to DIE if he ran out of his own chakra and then he goes right back to Ninetails mode as soon as Itachi leaves…. An what is Kabuto’s ace, WHOSE IN THE COFFIN!

@Tlaloc thats what I thought,.. Naruto was supposed to be KO,.. It might be a clone of Kabuto, but I cant really remember if zetsu ever came in contact with naruto.

The secret person is the yin part of the nine tails, Kabuto has the skills to make clone bodies of any person, we have seen these skills many times with him. The Forth Hokage only sealed the yin, and gave naruto the yang part of the nine tailes. So can Kabuto ressurect the yin part of the Nine Tailes with edo-tensei I believe its been confirmed.

what if the person using the rasengan is jiraiya cause kabuto cant summon minato and kakashi naruto and kohnahomaru rnt dead that leaves jiraiya he didnt say he couldnt summon him when he was explaining it to madara

maybe the person doing the rasengan is kohnahomaru and how could he have revive jiraiya he says that he doesnt have any dna for him later on cause his body is deep in the ocean

Uh guys…. Naruto did make a bunch of clones remember, and given Gaara and the Tsuchikage’s reactions, its pretty obvious its one of Naruto’s clone, five bucks says it is!

We all know Naruto sent a bunch of clones around, but I think that’s the exact reason why one of those clones appearing on a battlefield would be make a lowsy explanation for this clifhanger. It’d be to simple. Besides, Gaara doesn’t exactly seem happy to see this person appear. Nonetheless, the fingers show obvious signs of a chakra mode, meaning we’re dealing with a jinchuuriki capable of utilizing the rasengan. I’d say: Kushina or the Rikudou Sennin. Kushina was a Kyuubi jinchuuriki as well and, as the wife of Minato, inventor of the rasengan, she might have been taught that technique. The Rikudou Sennin was the Juubi jinchuurki and master of all Ninjutsu. I wouldn’t be suprised if he was capable of utilizing (some sort of) rasengan.

gaara’s facial expression at seeing this person confused me a bit to cuz at first i just figured that it was naruto but now that i think about it gaara wasnt told of naruto arriving to battle so he thinks that he should still be on the island training. so gaara could possibly be mad that naruto wasnt following the kages instructions. but u do make a good argument for ppl it could be besides naruto cuz now i realize that kushina could be resurected and that would be awesome

you guys are all off, it definately is naruto or a clone on the last page, its not jiraya its already been established his dna cant be reached, its definately NOT kushina b/c she was sealed inside naruto and definately NOT the rikodou sage i doubt theres any of his dna around for kabuto to use, also it is not the yin chakra of the kyuubi since that was sealed inside minato by the death god…..plz ppl read the manga and make more educated post

ik kushina was sealed in naruto but at the end we see her “disengrating” which means she most likely went to the after life like everyone else that died then was resurected.
but as far as the unknown person at the end iv been thinking its naruto this whole time. we could clearly see at the end 545 (which was also the chapter where naruto debuted a ton of new awesome attacks) that naruto was heading to all the battles with his clones

Okay guys, let’s keep it civil and not be jerks to eachother, personally I think its rather obvious its one of Naruto’s clones but I’ll list off why…
1st of all, that is indisputably a Rasengan in the arrival’s hand, only five people know the Rasengan, Minato and Jiraiya are dead, Kakashi is kinda busy with the 7 ninja swordsmen and Konohamaru is a bit young for this! plus he’s not going to be two hundred feet in the air in a kage level battle! That leaves only Naruto.
2nd Gaara and the Tsuchikage’s reaction reveals they immediately recognized the arrival and its not the sort of expression you’d expect from Gaara if it were Naruto, he’d be concerned but not particularly surprised because he anticipated Naruto’s recklessly jumping in for the fight.
Finally, look at the words in the bottom left “finally arrived”, that’s exactly the sort of thing I’d expect to see for Naruto “arriving” for the battle, but certainly not an unforeseen enemy.

@Ares; Yeah I totally forgot he made clones,..
But When naruto lost his power after the last battle, the clone next to him dissapeared too. And judging from the times a power-loss caused clones to dissapear, the other clones shouldve dissapeared too.
To be honest, I think its kinda confusing, Im actuallly thinking about a clone made by kabuto
evendoh im not sure if zetsu came in contact with Naru.

wow, so it seems my post yesterday didn’t come thru, anyway…
it’s NOT naruto. i’m putting down my money on that. why would kishi put naruto in the middle of another fight after he just finished a big one? even if its a clone, its too much. its almost like saying that the others can’t do anything without him, and we just saw how itachi told him not to shoulder everything. 2nd, many of you are talking about garaa’s and the tsuchikages reaction. i can agree that garaa doesn’t seem too happy with the new appearance, but as for the tsuchikage? look closely, his reaction to me seems like its directed mostly on the fact that his back just gave out (as we have seen in many other chaps cuz he is old) and also, he has his back turn to whoever showed up, so he hasn’t seen who it is, garaa got in the way cuz the other dude was goin to attack him from behind….and from the looks of it, whoever it is, is attacking from the sky? big jump i guess
also, like ARES said, lets keep it civil, simply state who u think it is, why u think so, n why u disagree with someone elses opinion, no need to be calling ppl names, one of the great things cliffhangers like this do its it lets ppl theorize n share ideas so that u can see it from others ppl view, lts not ruin the thread by fighting simply cuz someone doesn’t see it ur way

@Ares, Your arguments are all valid, and I suppose we’re not going to find out until next chapter. However, I would like to make a correction: On the last page it does not say “Finally arrived.” It says “Finally arrived?” Now, why would there be a question mark if it’s so obvious that it’s Naruto?

@Itachi’s Shadow I see what you mean about the Tsuchikage, now that I look closely yeah it is his back and not surprise at seeing naruto (whom they’re all fighting to protect from capture). Still I stick with the arrival being Naruto though, I forogt to mention the arrival’s thumb and ringfinger, they clearly show something very much like Naruto’s 9Tails mode, and the way the arrival is positioned makes it quite clear he’s attacking the 2nd Tsuchikage from above and behind and only Gaara appears to have seen him so far, if it were madara or one of the other kages or whoever Gaara’s eyes would be opened up in an “oh no” expression.
@Tlaloc yeah there typically are two seperate versions with the wording slightly different, but I must call your attention to Naruto’s making clones in chapter 445, he says he’s heading to all the battlefields to fight and “has he arrived?!” makes it even clearer that its Naruto’s clones arriving, the wording implies its someone we should be expecting… and there’s only two two big movements right now, Naruto and Bee heading to battle and Madara and his Six Paths Jinchuuriki aiming to capture them, Madara has no further business with Gaara so it could only be Naruto here.
I rest my case.

We all seen him send clones to the different battlefields
We’ll even see him at Kakashi’s soon..
Just cause the real Naruto got out of a big fight doesn’t mean his clones aren’t about to do the same
Nobody else knows Rasengan, that’s a hint giver right there
Minato and Jiraya are dead and can’t be revived
Konohamaru is too young to be in the war
&& Kakashi is busy fighting the Seven Swordsmen
You can clearly see the hand, you can tell it’s the Nine Tails Chakra mode

well, i think his trump card is going to be a powerful ninja (yea, that took no real hard thinking there as its pretty much a given lol) but i would say its Izuna or he is finally going to use his full power (i think it has something to do with the curse seal on….that girl he captured, forgot her name lol) which will enhance his power, which is how he is able to control so many edo tensei
also, as far as itachi goes, i guess the chap confirmed what i had stated before, that itachi wasn’t gonna take a part in the war itself, that he wasn’t gonna go around helping the allience in full view, as he wants to keep it a secret from the world that he is actually a good guy, so instead, just like he did with konoha, he is going to protect everyone from within the shadows (haha my name is itachi’s shadow) and go for kabuto and his edo tensei

While Itachi does have some mad skills, it would be kinda stupid if he showed up and saved the day and everything right? He is going to be taken out, by Madara if needed.
The one in the coffin… Madara was clearly suprised, so it had to be someone Madara personally knew right? So it cannot be Shisui. Izuna can’t touch Madara now that Madara has EMS. And Izuna does not know Madara’s weak spot either as he died when Madara took his eyes.
So what are the other options?
