Good chapter. Would have liked to see more of the battle but that killer bee guy is pretty stong lol he stopped suigetsus (sp?) sword, and beat juugo easily.. looks like naruto doesn’t have to die, just maybe turn into a stone frog.. can’t wait to see the rest of the battle..

Well I have to say this was an interesting chapter. Though I was disappointed with the hyped up color pages. I was hoping to see the color of the 8-tailed biju in color (sighs). I really like this jinchuriki, I think he’s funny and he’s obviously very strong. He easily blocked Suigetsu’s attack and disarmed him. Then to add insult to injury, he took his sword as his own. Too bad we didn’t get to see Juugo’s fight though. He, Karin doesn’t do anything as usual coughxSakuraxcough.
I knew Naruto wasn’t going to die. So much for the Kyuubi’s involvement like so many thought. So it would seem that Jiraiya’s appearance in Sage/Hermit mode wasn’t what he was supposed to look like, it was merely a flaw because of his inability to completely control natural energy. That’s refreshing, because I really didn’t like his appearance in that form so that is why I was against Naruto learning it. But if Naruto manages to control natural energy, then he will be able to stay in his normal human form and I wouldn’t have a problem against that. Hopefully, he does master it, his shadow clones should prove useful.
Overall, I thought it was a good chapter. Not only because of the start of the fight, but because they are actually giving the 8th Jinchuriki a personality instead of leaving him a somewhat blank character (like Yugito, all we know of her personality is that she has a sense of honor (from where she swore on her name that she would kill Hidan and Kakuzu), that’s it). I hope he gives Sasuke some trouble and we get to see the 8th biju in full.

alright chapter it seems naruto’s training is going to be boring until he can become 1 with nature , the 8 tailed seems strong saskue is up, i hope naruto becomes a bit more mature after the training

Alright great they showed more Naruto than Sasuke. I can’t stand Sasuke, but watch the 8 tails is going to counter the MS somehow. He’s probably blind or somethin, so the eye techniques won’t work on him.

there was more of naruto in this chapter then i tought… good, because we got to learn more about the sage training, and now we know that the sennin mode of jiraiya was the result for not being able to completly balance the chakra from nature.
the 8 tails seems very strong, i believe he will kick sasuke’s ass, karin and suigetsu are scared of him, and juugo was totally defeated.
great chapter overall

This chapter is ok. It would probably be better when sasuke fights the eight tails so we can see how much stronger our sasuke-kun has become.

on the front of the manga naruto is the only 1 who is not a genius
from right 3rd hokage known as the proffessor because he knows alot of jutsu, jiraya sannin kage-level nin and he is a toad sage, 4th hokage known as konaha yellow flash a genius and trapped kyuubi also ninja with the fastest space & time jutsu (exclude madara), kakashi high level jounin a genius uses alot of elemental affinities became chunnin at 6 (THAT IS A GENIUS)and he uses the sharingan better than most some members of the uchiha clan couldnt even achieve mangekou sharingan but he did if the 5th hokage dies kakashi will probably be the next hokage said jiraya
now naruto finished the rasengan so what he did not create it, kyuubi power not his power the only thing good about him is he learned annoying shadow clone jutsu while he was in the accademy and he has 4 times the ammount of kakashi’s chakra

Cool chapter. Now we now that sennin mode just means that jiraiya was using senjutsu and the only reason he took on the appearance of a toad was he couldn’t control it. Also I like that the hachibi jinchuuriki is kicking team snakes butt.

now that naruto is going through the senjustu training he is going to become alot stronger. but i hope the Kakashi give naruto the Yondaime’s “Flying Thunder God” Kunai so he could be even faster than sasuke. i am a sasuke fan but since ppl are getting mad that sasuke is getting stronger faster than naruto so this weapon will help. the reason i am a sasuke fan is because sasuke goes throught training to become as fast and as strong as he is no ok sasuke got the cs for a while but it is gone now and he is still strong and and probably even faster since itachi give me all his power and justu and itachi could do handsigns so fast they were faster than sasuke shinshun so imagine how stronger and faster sasuke is now. and yes naruto will get stronger from his training cause senjustu can help your other justu come even stronger and naruto has the kyubi charkra and he teacher sent him a key so that he can unlock the power and use the charka alot easier. so naruto has to do o keep up with sasuke is go through training ask gai for some taijustu learn more ninjustu hope that Kakashi can give me that kunai so he can become even faster than sasuke shinshun and get some sort of weapon since sasuke has the sword and he has learn to make alot of his own jutsu naruto needs some chakra blades so when they meet again it would be a intersting match since sasuke Sharingan is stronger than that of Madara’s and remember that madara also has his brothers eyes to. so sasuke must e powerful and since he can control the kyubi then naruto probably wont be able to use that chakra so it will be a fair fight. i think sasuke is stronger than his former teachers. and i have one question if anybody can answer it didnt they say that madara can teleport because remember when sasuke and naruto first meet and sasuke was on that cliff and then he appeared at the bottom i think that was sasuke teleporting but he can only go short distances i just thinking thats a theroy the sharigan last power. and question just ask me here

i think naruto’s other affinity could be either water (cause of where his mom’s from which is whirlpool) or earth cause they said natural energy is the atmosphere(whish is air water and earth

I don’t know about y’all but I’m just glad to see one of these jinchuuriki kicking the snot out of his opponents. He looks cool, he raps cool(just kidding), and he fights with supreme speed and accuracy. I just like him all together. I will say that I’m going to be pissed if his bijuu is something lame like a squid or an octapus. I want it to be something huge and intimidating.

And both genjutsu and Sharingan techniques require you to look at his eyes. Doesn’t the definition of genjutsu on this site say something about it being chakra messing with your head?

Techniqually, only dojutsu genjutsu need eye contact. Genjutsu affects the senses, like smell, taste, sound, etc.
But, yeah. The manga is called Naruto, so it’s good to see more of him. Too much Sasuke. I still believe the sunglasses of the Hatchibi covers his jinchuuriki trait (Gaara and Yugito’s eyes? Naruto’s whiskers?). I doubt that bullhorn tattoo is a trait.

where the hell is pain an who is he going to fight tsunade come on not even jairaya could handle that guy. the 8 tails host is strong but seems to be annoying with the rapping, but still rather see the 8 tails come out and at full power. naruto is giong to be busy for a while which is good because he cant handle pain either.

glad it explained the whole naruto dying thing(apparently not happening), but i really didnt expect the whole toad transformation, im glad that the 8 tails jinchuuriki spanked juugo, and suigetsu so easily, sasukes team seemed overpowering until the 8 tails:), want to see more of naruto’s training. It looks like Pain wont get to Konoha anytime soon, which is a good thing, all in all great chapter.

I dont see why most of you like naruto over sasuke. why? was it because sasuke betrayed the village? who cares(I think that makes him even more cooler, evil characters are always more badass then lame goody two-shoes characters like naruto) Naruto has to be the most annoying character of any anime that I have ever seen. I mean come on people! he is a disgrace to all ninja(the guy wear an orange jump suit for gods sake)Plus he has lame powers. If you go back and watch or read naruto all over again from the beginning you’ll see that every fight that hes won was because of the nine tailed fox, not his own skill but a demon fox that lives within him that keeps him alive so that he wont die(ok maybe he beat kiba with out it but who cares ITS KIBA!)I find sasuke to be the most intriguing character of the Naruto universe. The thing that he is willing to do to achieve his goals is just awesome(the reason i got into the anime/manga) also saying sasuke is emo is one of the most idiotic things that i have ever heard. Guys His own brother who he looked up to all his life murdered his family and entire clan right in front of him, keep in mind sasuke was just 8 years old(thats some pretty tramatizing stuff for an 8 year old to see.Naruto goes around farting, stepping on dog poop, never seems to grow up and he has a very short temper. I just dont get it! why is Naruto better than Sasuke? really somebody please give me a reason that does not have to do with thinking hes emo or for being a traitor.

Sasukes eyes is no level at madara’s, he refused to implant itachi’s eyes. the only reason why itachi lost his illness finally caught up with him thats how madara knew that sasuke would win. Itachi gave half his power to naruto and half to A-hole brother of his. just image if itachi wasn’t sick and didnt give naruto half his power. sasuke would have been dust he has along while before he reaches itachi.

This is a fairly constructed chapter, at least there’s more panels for Naruto. There’s been another fight invovling Sasuke and surely the pages would only show him being a genius in defeating the eight-tailed beast- PREDICTABLE. This circumstance repeats everytime Sasuke goes to fight- he goes off to show his skill, then experiences some trouble, and then winning at the end, probably not by directly killing his opponent, but by some stroke of luck created by the god of this manga series, Masashi Kishimoto.
I like the series a lot, but I also am its strong critic.
Yeah we all know that NAruto is stupid, but seeing him always dumbfounded and less serious is really annoying. All the things happening is nothing but plain redundancy. -both Sasuke’s display of hedonism towards winning and Naruto’s blatant idiocy.
On the positive side, The cover is really good. Comparing the 4 generations of teachers-students, it’s like Naruto doesn’t deserve YET to be included there, not until Kishimoto starts to polish his protagonist’s character like what he does to the villain, Sasuke.

If you look at that picture of the 3rd and jiraya, the 4th, kakashi and naruto they all taught the next guy. Starting from the right, the 3rd taught jiraya, jiraya taught the 4th, the 4th taught kakashi and kakashi taught naruto.

What are you talking about Naruto’s not a genius? You have to remember that he is the son of the fouth Hokage. And in the circle of life the son is suppose to surpass his father. Granted Naruto had to take the graduation test 4 times but hes was messing around. If the fouth wounldn’t have died Naruto would’ve have beaten it the first time when he was younger. You forget that Naruto is the MAIN character. He will become stronger than anyone in the village, and he WILL KILL sasuke.

Great to finally see everyone in color. I was suprised to find that Karin had pink (red?) hair. I always assumed it was dark. What’s up with pink haired girls having Sasuke fever? lol
Anyway, the chapter was good. Hachibi seems to be quite entertaining and strong. I was shocked that his fight with Juugo was actually cut out. Fast forwarded fights almost never happens in this manga. It was a relief though, that way we can focus on the main fight between him and Sasuke. I hope he gives Sasuke a really hard time XD
As for Naruto, the training will be interesting. Like many of you, I’m glad that Kishi expalained the sage mode and now we all know why Jiraiya turned out the way he did.
I hope Sasuke’s fight and Naruto’s training dosen’t drag out for too long, but I may be asking for too much -_-‘

How many fights is this for Sasuke now in Shippuden? 756? I am so tired of him and his Mary Sue powers. I wish he’d get killed, but that will never happen.
The manga should focus on other characters and enough with Sasuke.

Kage-level: You have 3 geniuses, and 2 idiots. Remember Naruto is a lot like Jiraya in a lot of ways, that’s why Jiraya was able to relate so well to him. Naruto is all heart, and his real power isnt through his ninja arts, his real power is his heart and his sheer determination to succeed; to never give up and fight for what he believes in. That’s why Tsunade-sama believes in him, that is why Jiraya believes in him, and that’s why Sakura believes in him. The people that are truly important to him know what makes him special, and they love him all the more for it. Naruto is training so hard, going to all of these lengths to protect his friends, and to rescue the one friend he lost. He’s determined to keep his promise, and that’s what makes his story so compelling.
