RSS Feed Available

Tuesday, April 19th, 2005

For you tech savy surfers, a couple of site readers mentioned how it would be nice if we had a RSS feed for the site… well we actually do but I had been too lazy to ever say anything about it. All you have to do is plug in the following address to get nice new headline updates directly from our site into your browser:

http://www.leafninja.com/wp-rss.php

As a result of this being published I think I’m going to have to be a little bit more clear with the news post titles… Anyway, the ability to even use RSS will vary by browser, if you have any questions about whether you can use RSS with your flavor of browser, you should probably consult Google, or post it in our Comments. Another reader may be able to offer advice on how to set it up.

Site Feedback

Sunday, April 17th, 2005

I think it may be time to restate some points about the information on the site. The information largely comes from me, and things hashed out by members on our forum. Now the earliest incarnation of this site was created by newb me about a year ago. That means some of the information is outdated or plain wrong if it hasn’t been updated since then. Since the site is getting to have so much content it is hard to keep up with it all.

Even in its earliest state, some of the entries were unknowingly blatantly wrong. I honestly don’t know why I ended up including certain facts in entries looking back at them today. With the rebirth of the site a few months ago I’ve gone over the site quite a bit, updating and correcting as I find mistakes. Unfortunately there are quite a bit of mistakes still remaining out there.

I take feedback very seriously, and when people rely on our information I want it to be correct. To that end, I BEG people to drop feedback either at my e-mail address thekonohaninja@yahoo.com or on our forum in the News and Feedback threads. I want people to point out the incorrect information to me directly rather than point out the mistakes in private where I can probably never read them. You can also drop feedback in the Comments field of the newsposts, but I am less likely to read or keep up with them. The best place honestly is our forum, where I can publicly state why certain information is the way it is.
