This was a good chapter i liked when madara had the explosion tags on naruto when he threw him up in the air and the 4th could have stopped him if he would have put naruto down faster and then beat up madara becauce that would have been a good fight but anyways good chapter

Chapter was dull, no plot advance. Except now we know that the Sharingan can forcefully take out the 9 tailed-fox.

Why is it that the first voice that comes to my head while reading Madara’s first line in this chapter is Darth Vader? It so fits him with the cloak! “Back away from the Jinchuuriki.”

Hmmm, jerk move. Dont even get to see any fighting scenes. Not one of the best chapters…
Also: Im calling this. Naruto and sasuke have their fight, neither wins. They talk. Naruto tells himt he truth. Sasuke has a change of heart and goes back to the leaf. They kill tobimadara, naruto marries hinata and sasuke marries sakura… Sorry! Just ruined that for ya…

Everyone has to know that Naruto and Sasuke are currently both have a half of the Kyuubi sealed inside them. I mean Minato said there was half in Naruto and now Sasuke and Itachi happen to be on a stroll when Minato is sealing it. Its obvious.

read it. kind of disappointed that we are being taken back to see more back story, but it’s all story elements that I think Kishi wanted to bring out for the longest time and havent been able to do so. Do your thing Kishi, we are just along for the ride my man. I’m glad Naruto is being able to witness how heroic his parents were, that will only serve to fuel Naruto’s fight, to stop Madara once and for all and save his friend in the end.

minto and kushina are such like naruto and sakura.
i wonder what minto will try to do about the nine taills and madara.maybe we will see kakashi and rin teen.

totaly awsome chapter. i cant beleive kushina is living so long after nine-tails was removed. and finally madara and nine0tails begin their attack with only the fourth lord in their way!

Mj16: in japanese marriage the family name is the wifes surname not the husbands hence naruto uzumaki.
TrueGaara: i’m sorry but that is wrong; minato sealed the yin (good) fox chakra into naruto himself whilst sealing the other half (yang) of the chakra into a large scroll which jiraiya received which is stored as a toad scroll. Sasuke does not and will not ever have the fox chakra sealed inside himself, sorry =/.

good thing about this chapter is we learn about Minato’s teleporting ability relying on a symbol attached to a kunai or drawn somewhere. too bad its just background story dragging on without some action sequences… if you’ve seen the nine tails before, its not impressive in this chapter

Wow! Madara is truly shameless using a baby as his shield and trying to kill Minato like that! But “Common Sense” nailed it! He said Madara probably took control of the Ninetails from Kushina from the inside, Nice! The seal was severely weakened from childbirth and at that point Madara could do that, what a bastard! Naruto is safe, Kushina is dying, and Madara is coming with his old pet, yeah! GOOD LUCK MINATO!!!!

Where is the third hokage during all of this? I feel like giving the birth in secret was an unnecessary plot point since it would be safer to have Kushina give birth in the village. It only happens because Naruto’s lineage is supposed to be a secret. It just seems this plot point is poorly put together.

Good chapter but this just foreshadows that naruto will try to kill madara and sasuke will try to stop him and lets not 4get sasuke has itachis eyes now and showing itachi at the end of the chapter mite tell us what itachi gave naruto (the crow that flew in narutos mouth)

Yay! Wat I previously said actually came true, but kushina didn’t die immediately bec. her chakra is potent. Now more than ever, let’s call on Kishi-sensei to make movies about the backstories of the different chars. Pls kishi! The attack on konoha will commence next!

Sad that Kushina and Minato are going to die. Nice they got to be with him (page 16). Wish Naruto learns some technique and brings them back. He should learn their techniques and get revenge on Madara. He will be angry! The Kyubi sure looks cool and evil once it is released. Madara is realy evil and has no heart as he attacked weakened Kushina and newborn Naruto.It is getting harder to wait for the next chapter!

just a guess, but is the reason y madara uses only 1 eye coz he used izanagi in the fight against shodai hokage? he was supposedly killed in that battle but maybe he used that technique to survive?

996: the third hokage was technically retired, he had no need to be there. Everyone believed madara to be dead so they didn’t believe anyone alive could carry out such an action.
Also the whole point of her giving birth away from the village was so that if it escaped it wouldn’t destroy the village immediately, they had no idea how hard it would be to keep the kyuubi at bay during so it was safer to give birth outside of the village.

@sanzo: that is possible…however, if he used izanagi, then his whole powers must still be intact, save for his sacrificed eye. but as itachi said, madara’s just a former shell of himself now. so, he must have used izanagi, but the shodai hokage must have beaten him to pulp so much that his weakened body didn’t become an illusion…but still, it doesn’t make sense if he did use izanagi, and yet become a shell of his former self.

ok im really sorry but tobi/madara is starting to annnoy me but not how some of you are thinking. whats bugging me is his damn jutsu that he uses to warp his body to not get hit or whatever. and i know everyone is out there saying but it’s madara and then there’s the “confirmation” from kisame but if you think bout it if you introduce yourself to someone, they dont know who your are so they obv going to belive you.
Anyway my whole point is the fact that kakashi and tobi/madara/obito/masked man lol both have the same jutsu. now i wouldnt relaly be that bothered but that seems something unique to only those two ninjas something that no-one else in the uchia clan has got which i think is weird

Hello.
why is everyone asking who is behind the mask?? it’s obvious that it’s Uchicha Madara… Itachi told sasuke that it was him, and all the other part of the story, and in the beginning of the series we learned that he was the one attacking the leaf village. Stop asking, because it’s Madara
I probably believe that Minato saved Kushina, but during the fight with the kyubi,he died and kushina as well, trying to make the seal for naruto.
now i don’t understand <hy is itachi doing in the last page of the chapter…
But, well done Kishimoto for all the recent Chapters
