   Seeing the previous 8-tails jinchuuriki was really interesting, to say the least… I like his character design, it’s really unique, and he’s so honest. It’s too bad he couldn’t appear more often. Although, I’d thought that Bee has only begun rapping recently, though I guess I was wrong.

   This chapter seemed abit wierd. IDK i just got a weird vibe off of it. BTW it was SIK seeing A and Minato Face off.

   @Kristen Hatake I agree, it shows a fundamental difference between the leaf and Cloud, the Cloud careflly picked their jinchuuriki trying to get a real compatible host for the Eighttails and likely the same for the twotails (we should see backstory on most of other jinchuuriki as well, esp. Roushi and Yugito), but does anyone else think the leaf treat Naruto like he was just there just to be a host, Naruto never recieved any special training to develop his Jinchuuriki abilities until he left with Jiraiya, hell he was kept in the dark about the Ninetails until Mizuki tricked him! one thing I always wanted to know was why Naruto was never properly developed as a Jinchuuriki since he was little, being a military megaweapon is half their purpose as jinchuuriki.

   well, i don’t entirely think that the Leaf choose their Jinchuuriki at random. Remember, the previous host were the 1st Hokage’s wife, and Naruto’s mom. They were from the Uzumaki clan and they had special chackra’s that allowed them to better seal the Jubbi. Naruto been a descendant, made him a good choice. That and the fact they were in the middle of a fight with Madara so Minato had to do something quick before it went downhill.
   But as for your second point, I agree. I don’t see why the Leaf never made the effort to properly train Naruto to be able to control the Fox, after all, it is a super weapon and if they want to have the bragging rights of having it, they should be able to use it. It’s like me saying I own an Iron Man suit but don’t know how to use it, it’s pointless. But I guess they wanted Naruto to live a normal life, unfortunately, the villagers casted him out…If they had trained him from start, it be a different story lol
   And i’m loving all this lil raps from Bee, they’re funny.

   I didn’t mean that the Leaf chose randomly, I meant that the Cloud was making a truly serious attempt to find a compatible host who could control and master their beast’s power whereas the Leaf apparently only wanted to contain the beast, Mito and Kushina were specially suited to supressing the Ninetails rather than controlling it.

   We have only limited knowledge regarding the time before the start of the series, but looking at Naruto it is painfully obvious that the thought of training Naruto to control fox never occured to the leaf, Danzo likely would have so (God forbid, can you imagine UGH!!!!) It makes no sense to have the most powerful tailed beast in yor arsenal and never make any attempt to make that a usable weapon, not that Naruto is just some tool and treated like an emotionless killing machine, I REALLY hate people who think like that, soldiers are people like anyone else, disregard for their emotions and humanity is why we have thousands of soldiers coming home from Iraq commiting suicide and having a slew of psychological problems, my uncle was in Vietnam I have a fairly good idea what they’re like!

   Maybe it was because of Danzo. If I could remember it right, he also wanted to be the nine-tails jinchuriki. he belongs to the upper elders and can manipulate them with shisui’s eyes. Just a thought. Minato and A face off, wow, The 4th Hokage was really fast, a genius!

   Remember it was the third who wanted to keep it a secret so thats why it was no special training even if he is the fourth’s son another reason everyone who wanted to take revenge on minato would steal naruto and so on.

   I think that they didn’t want Naruto to know anything bout the nine tails. Also that nine tails is the most powerful with more hatred in him and one cannot sit and negotiate with.Remember what 8 tails said that he and bee are the same. The more the tails the more difficult it becomes. Naruto had no talent as compared to Bee, and Bee heard that he was going to become a jinchuuriki while naruto first had no idea about it. I think that “something” which the previous 8 tails jinchuuriki was talking about was about the emotion to control it, means that Bee never hated anyone and could negotiate with 8 tails by going in that falls of truth. even though Bee was hated by most of the people but still he had someone beside him from the start and got training while Naruto was kept at distance from start until third hokage requested Iruka to be with him. The only question I have in my mind is that wasn’t there anyone other than Jiraiya who could teach Naruto to control the beast at the least? if third hokage had the idea he could’ve done it like A who told Bee about it

   Naruto would have found out about the Fox eventually (and DID!), it was only a matter of time, most of the adults kne wthe Fox was inside and treated him like a freak, (I always remember that one scene in the short filler around the Pein meeting where Naruto gets pushed on the ground by the mask shop owner and gets looked at by the townspeople). Naruto was literally living on his own at a very young age, who took care of him when he was an infant? Why din’t the Third adopt Naruto himself? Or have someone like Asuma take care of him (Asuma is a pretty solid teacher and capable fighter/bodyguard plus they both have Wind Chakra). There are plenty of ways naruto COULD have been raised, but why keep him so isolated, was literally EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the Leaf so fearful and prejudiced against Naruto that they couldn’t be trusted to look after him? Was it really necessary for Naruto to be so isolated and alone and be kept in the dark about the Ninetails? Not telling Naruto about the Ninetails would be like not telling the farmer there’s a lion loose in the area, would you rather tell him so he can be prepared or find out when he turns arou….

    Looking back at the stories, nobody (living) from the Leaf has the capacity to train Naruto to become a perfect jinchuuriki back then. Although, Jiraiya did try to tame the Kyuubi’s power for Naruto’s sake, he actually doesn’t have the know-how to do it with a level of expertise that Bee showed. The only Leaf-konoichis with the knowledge of properly containing the Kyuubi are Mito and Kushina (and still that is with the aid of their special chakra) which incidentally are both dead. So, even though Yamato is right there, but all he can do is suppress the Kyuubi’s chakra from coming out. Not actually control it, if it was ever revived. If we can remember, only a few shinobi was regarded to have a mastery of control over the bijuus, Hashirama (who has been said by Madara himself to be capable of controlling a number of bijuus), Madara, Bee and the former Mizukage (which I think the only reason he was able to control the Sanbi is because he’s under Madara’s control). So prior to Naruto’s training with Bee, Leaf would have faced a big problem if they did attempt to train Naruto for that purpose. Cause unlike Cloud, which had numerous powerful/effective tools/means of sealing/containing the their bijuu if it was released.

    well when Jiraiya came to konaha, he should’ve asked help from tsunade to help him to train naruto in controlling the nine tails and with yamato, jiraiya and some of the other good sealing technique ninjas, they would’ve trained naruto. But still it is that konaha is one of the strongest and still couldn’t train naruto also by using some of the sealing squad if there were any. it means that cloud village is more powerful than konoha in ninjutsu or advanced techniques.
