I told you he wasnt going to get it. And to finish him off with a normal rasengan… kind of weak. at least he was in Sage mode… whatever.

Technically it wasen’t the normal Rasengan that beat the Raikage: It was Naruto’s wit. I like endings such as this one, as they are way more original, surprising and entertaining than yet another overpowered form of the Rasengan overwhelming and killing the opponent (Muu’s death, hint, hint ;))
Also, I’m really looking forward to the next chapter! The only “proper” Genjutsu we’ve seen so far was Tayuya’s, Kurenai’s filler techniques and the same old overpowered Uchiha Sharingan spam. I think the Mizukage might just be the first person to show us how to fight with some fresh, versatile and original illusion trickery.

such an awesome chapter i mean naruto once again defeated an emeny with a normal rasengan when newer and supposly better versions failed also i think hes running out of nine tails charka cause i remember in a earlier chapter the 8 tails said he only had a limited amount of charka he pulled from the nine tails so that tells me that since hes been using it so much hes about to run out and might have ti fight the nine tails again to get more charka also wheres oonki i thought he was helping garra fight the mizukage

It seems I was the one wrong this time, I thought for sure Naruto pull off the Bijuu-Dama, it may have due to his exhausting the Ninetails power but he still pulls a surprise out of his behind at the right moment, yup… that’s our Naruto for ya!

i gree with you, although he still used the same old rasengan, the attack was mainly based on his on wits. He used sage mode to better evade the attack and have a better chance for counter, and he used the rasengan as a means to push the raikages arm into his chest, since he was covered in lighting, doing so bare handed wouldn’t have worked.

this chapter was great, i loved to see naruto find back his way up, the raikage was still as badass as always

hey did anyone notice the raikage never once used black lighting which he was said to have created and taught to darui but he didnt use it once

@17 the raikage never taught darui the black lightning the raikage passed his lighting down to darui i think that was said during the darui vs kin-gin brothers battler

@amaterasu when i hear that he passed it down that he taught him how to do it like jiriya passed down the rasengan to naruto and jiryia could still u it so i assume the raikage could still use black lighting

@sharingan86 very true very true no matter what show it is people always spam there strongest mode like for instance dbz they spammed the hell out of the super saiyan and its various advancement (super saiyan 2,3,4)i don’t personally see it as a major shock that kishi is spamming the nine tails mode although i do like the fact he brought in sage mode to give us a break from the kyubi mode was a smart move on his behaf and chances r if he didnt have the kyubi mode he would be spamming sage mode cause narutos trying to be as strong as he could possibly be and right now the nine tails mode is stronger than sage mode and thats y hes using it more but what im hoping happens is that he runs out of nine tails charka and has to fight the nine tails again to get more of its power

Won’t happen –> Won’t work, stated by the frog elders, the nine tales prevents it form happening. He can only be in one mode a time.

just take a look at how this war is going on. Itachi breaking out of the EDO TENSI meaning his soul is trapped in a body and is basically alive again until the jutsu is stopped and the body returns to the original corpse (assuming)…
GIN and KIN are suddenly on the battle field with some of the SAGE’s weapons wich i’m sure will come into play later on…
Naruto in Kyuubi mode making Kyuubi mode shadow clones…
Madara having both the rennigan and his sharingan…
It wouldnt surprise me if Naruto talks to Fox again and after knowing what war is like and having to feel everything that comes with it, i bet the fox will subside and Naruto might be able to have full control. also i think KISHI is slowly adding in the Sage mode bit by bit to finally combine the two together.

this is just a random thought but who thinks it would have been sick if kakashi faught the raikage and used his sharingan to see the four finger hell bringer hand and in some way copied it to enhance his own raikiri

i think that shisui would have been a greater illusionist then the mizukage i mean it takes 10 years to use his eye again that is some insane jutsu : | and dont forget the eye of his that danzo had aswell

i believe itachi has proven to be one of the greatest sharingan user who was the only one to get lose of edo tensei, kept the totsuka thing, and his genius. though pain has the most powerful eye, rennigan, itachi still is far better than him..
one thing more, i think, for me, illusionist differs from a sharinggan user, a lot different.

well, I’m not really impressed with Madara. For now, we have not seen yet he used his EMS, or even seen him with it now. What yah mean by awesome array of techs? when he mostly used just his teleportation jutsu. All we know about Madara are just stories from the past. And, Madara’s intellect was just added with his experience while Itachi’s inborn. I believe that if these two are of the same age, Itachi would still be better than Madara.
I did say that pain has the most powerful eye and my opinion was Itachi is still better than Pain. Kabuto did have full control over Nagato. What makes it difficult for kabuto is that Nagato cannot dodge any attack since he cant stand on his own. Nagato’s vision is present in all angles but still, Itachi can hit with his Kunai the blind spot of Nagato. Another thing, Amaterasu was very successful in killing Nagato, but not because of Edo tensei, Nagato would not have survived it. (they will still be alive if not sealed). Well, inarguably, Pain is a strong opponent but if he fought one on one with Itachi, I believe Itachi will still win.
