What you will find here: Our goal is to provide up to date Naruto news and a vast array of Naruto information. We hope to provide you with all this information without horribly spoiling you. We know there are viewers and Shonen Jump readers out there that would like to learn more about Naruto but not have their experience horribly ruined by all the big spoilers in the series. We hope to be able to provide you with the content in a safe manner but still provide exhaustive information on the subject if the reader desires. That is why we will provide "Quick-Spoiler" clickable areas that allow you to see expanded information on the person or topic.
What you won't find here: Unlike many Naruto sites, we will not be providing you with downloads of the episodes or the manga. The price that is involved in hosting such content is too prohibitive in the long run and the hosting of such content would open us to legal liability. However, we hope to provide summaries and information on all the episodes and manga and also provide you with a great community experience.
The Toonami website has a new clip up for Episode 03 airing this Saturday, it features the infamous “Sasuke’s first kiss” moment. The strange thing is they appear to have edited it. Please note that this edit MAY just be for the online clip, it would seem weird for them to cut it after the competant way they edited the first two episodes.

Sakura’s voice is MORE tolerable than Irkua’s.
The edited “kissing scene” (which is an unintentional act between Sasuke and Narootoe) only furthers the knowledge that the US is a homophobic society.
Go figure. Oh well. Could be worse. They could’ve had Rosie O’Donnell play Choji’s voice. That would’ve KILLED me. 🙂

It is good that they acknowledged the kiss, but it’s clear from the expressions that they didn’t want to kiss. And besides that…it’s two 12 year old boys. Most boys that age don’t even consider being gay in the first place.

I know its so dumb they cut out the kissing scene and did anyone else notice that when Naruto turns into a girl they don’t get nosebleeds they ust fly back. If I didn’t see the apanese version I’d be soo lost because afterwards they have tissue in their noses.

Someone should cap that part when it airs. I for one am interested to see whether or not the scene’s in the actual episode. I’m guessing it won’t be, though.

Toonami screwes up the whole show! The dubbing and the editing is just..I want to kill them! Its just that, the ENGLISH dubbing takes away the coolness of the whole show. When they say the name “Naruto Uzumaki” and the voices are HORRIBLE. Thats what I think, sorry of I insulted anyone who liked it.

First of all, Cartoon Network has taken a lot of risks in showing Naruto at a TV-PG level on Toonami already. Second, while I’d prefer that the kiss stay in for story purposes, them taking it out doesn’t make the US a homophobic country, unless you want to misuse the term homophobic. Third, for Vance, Toonami didn’t dub the show, Viz did, which is a blessing compared to what a company like 4kids would’ve done.

I just find it funny when people say how horrible American versions are. Ignorance is bliss, people. If you had not been illegally downloading fansubs (Yes, it is technically illegal, and no, I am not acting holier than thou, because I download Naruto and Bleach too) you would not have expected anything from this show. But give the version the credit for what it is. If you were an American kid watching it for the first time, you’d love it. In fact, I bet you have tons of friends watching it for the first time who think the show is so good, it must have been made by a divine being.

The cut the scene, and that ruined a lot. Naruto is definitely Adult Swim material, but Toonami has a much larger audience, therefore in order for Naruto to be a big hit, it is aired on Toonami. Adult Swim’s viewing time is just a little late for some teens to view.
