What you will find here: Our goal is to provide up to date Naruto news and a vast array of Naruto information. We hope to provide you with all this information without horribly spoiling you. We know there are viewers and Shonen Jump readers out there that would like to learn more about Naruto but not have their experience horribly ruined by all the big spoilers in the series. We hope to be able to provide you with the content in a safe manner but still provide exhaustive information on the subject if the reader desires. That is why we will provide "Quick-Spoiler" clickable areas that allow you to see expanded information on the person or topic.
What you won't find here: Unlike many Naruto sites, we will not be providing you with downloads of the episodes or the manga. The price that is involved in hosting such content is too prohibitive in the long run and the hosting of such content would open us to legal liability. However, we hope to provide summaries and information on all the episodes and manga and also provide you with a great community experience.
The official Naruto goods website has some new details up on Narutimett Hero 3, including new supers for Naruto and Sasuke based on their battle at the Valley of the End. NH 3 can be preordered from Play-Asia here, it ships later this winter.

Hey Shika, do you have to “mod” your gamecube to play the game or does it already read it?

that is seriously cool…hopefully you’ll be able to play as the Akatsuki..

You don’t “mod” a Gamecube. All you need is the “Freeloader” disc. Besides, this game is for PS2 not Gamecube. The Naruto GNT series play on Gamecube, the “Hero” series is on PS2. I’m a little partial to the GNT series because of gameplay but the battle animation for the Hero series is awesome. This version looks like more of the same. I’m really looking forward to it.

Shodai gots it. You just use a swap disk, no real modding involved for GC.

It says that its for JPN systems only… does that means that I must do something to play it?
Shodai Says:

Yeah Needle. To play the Hero series on an American or European PS2 you can do 1 of 2 things: 1. get the system “modded” to play foreign titles (usually requires a chip installed) or 2. install a “flip-top” on your PS2. Personally I did the “flip-top” because it’s not as involved as installing a mod chip. You can order the kit online and you don’t need an engineering degree to install it. 😉

Yeah, there is some debate though over whether it is settled. Don’t talk about it here though, since this news item isn’t about the manga, we can’t discuss it. 8)

thanks shodai.. but where can I find a flip-top if I want one?… and if I install one.. can I play any PS game from Japan? or just the hero series?
Shodai Says:
September 23rd, 2005 at 2:20 pm
You can find the flip-top online. Just do a search on it and you’ll find it. Once installed you can play and Japanese title. Bare in mind that the procedure doesn’t require you to make alterations that void the warranty on your PS2. It was no big deal for me because mine had expired already.
Also as a side note to those of you who would like to play the Gameboy Advance Naruto titles, like the awesome Naruto RPG, you can play those games on any Gameboy Advance system. Just make sure you can speak Japanese or find a translation guide.

Correction on the above:
1. you can play “any” Japanese title.
2. the procedure “does” require you to make alterations that void the warranty.
Sorry for the confusion.
