   Seems like recap of Naruto`s life from his own POV. I give it max 10 episodes. And that is pushing it.

   I agree these fillers are really not needed.

   When you have seen the manga then you know that they can put fillers into the cannon story as the story is going along.

   But I am not sure I said I gave it 10 episodes and that was a bit too much those four that is confirmed is a huge push on its own.

   Good episode. Nice with a quick recap from another perspective.
   Also, good that they did this now, instead of later on. Hopefully, we’ll get an uninterrupted warstory.
   @nb17: noticed right away, but as said above, hopefully we don’t get flashbacks in the middle of the war now =)

    isn’t it that all Uzumaki clan has red hair? then is Gaara an Uzumaki too coz of his red hair?

    If he was. an uzumaki it would be lighter. I think if we where to put a picture of them side by side his would be darker. And on the other side he should have survived the initial removal of the shukaku.

    as a mangareader this ep touched me n brang back memories it also showed a scene from the manga not gunna spoil ,now it makes me wanna watch the valley of the end episode anyone else feel the same way

    @ItachiFTW it shows events from a different angle and augments the events that is canon.
    Next episode will have the chunnin exams. But we see things just from Naruto`s point of view. So you could say this is what he thought about between the last episode to the next. Better than the awkward sea route in the adventure at sea arc.

    i agree with kross this epiosde wasnt that bad although i see naruto fillers as stupid they do serve a very important purpose mkaing sure theres plenty of room between the manga and the anime. i mean if it werent for fillers the people would either have to always make epsiodes of the previous chapter that without adding fillers would only be like 10 mins long or new anime would have to wait 2 or 3 weeks for new epsiodes to come out.

    No they can’t possibly do that. Not if they have working brains.. Since it is so important for the rest of the plot, they have to show it. My guess is that they’ll show it after the flashback.
