He appearantly knew the signs needed for the edo tensei, and used it to release himself from the jutsu,.. kinda like tachi did with shisui’s eyes.

somehow I have a feeling that releasing the edo tensei posed a risk to him because although he says his body is undying…the last page shows him with no cracks which means that he could possibly be alive again and hence killable. He really does have unlimited chakra though and nearly invincible XD hopefully kabuto realizes that he needs to go back to the orphanage and sasuke can move on to face the other legendary uchiha 😀

Wow. Madara stays in the battle….as expected. Looks like kabuto put the release contract on Madara jic something went wrong. Tsunade got lucky on that one but idk how much more the other Kage can manage, especially if susanoo returns to full form. Meanwhile anybody wanna take a gander at what sasuke’s nxt move is. And when are we gonna see Naruto/Kurama and Killer B/Gyuki vs Tobi for real? And have they fought Gedo yet?

i think kishi is putting this fight so like all 3 tech happened at the exact same time so like really naruto just finished off the other tailed beast and nothing has happened yet and what were seeing now was really going on the whole time during the fight against tobi

We’ve seen the reïncarnated jinchuuriki’s Tobi used as his 6 paths dissolve when the Edo Tensei was released in chapter 590, so there can be much of a time gap between Naruto’s and the Kage’s battle. I get the confusion, though. With all attention going to the battle against Madara, Naruto and Tobi would’ve been staring motionlessly at eachother for minutes if the timeline was realistic.
I found the meeting between Tsunade and her lover to be rather short and meaningless. But the twist with Madara is pretty interesting. His final comment suggests he’s not really planning on siding with Kabuto now he’s in control of himself. Kabuto however was siding with Tobi, who in turn is on the same side as Madara. So I’m pretty curious how this will unfold itself.

Everyone expected madara to stay in the fight. I still think its pretty dumb. If he knew the signs for the release, why did he wait until it was almost too late before using them? Why not do it right away. And this makes me wonder, if there is a release for the edo tensei, then maybe there are releases to other forbidden nutshell as well …. ie the God of death… ie 1st hokage.

@5 @7 Remember the chapter were Madara was dicussing matters with Kabuto through Muu? Kabuto suggested otherwise, that Tobi is now following his own plans… It is rather straightforward what happens next: Sasuke runs over Kabuto, faces Madara later on and truly becomes the last standing and strongest Uchiha. The indirect cause of his pain will be eliminated. Naruto will defeat Tobi just after we learn of the relationship between Tobi and Madara. This way Naruto will be eliminating the one who founded Akatsuki and bought him pain indirectly. Afterwards Sasuke and Naruro will be left with clashing ideals and will face of against each other. Tobi and Madara probably won’t meet each other in person… But I guess that kinda sums up my current thoughts on te plot

That would make sense for sasuke to fight madara when you put it in that light but honestly if sasuke couldn’t even beat the raikage what makes you think he could beat someone who could handle all 5 kage. (yes i know he has the EMS now and maybe that added boost will give him more of an edge but still i doubt it would be enough to beat all 5 kage) Also tobi is a direct cause of naruto pain if it wasnt for tobi his parents would still be alive and he wouldn’t have kurama in him.(which alibet is kind of a voon now. Although i do agree the story will probably take a similar path as you preditcited

I honestly dont think sasuke will fight madara as cool as it would be i dont think sasuke would win i think hes gona get to the naruto tobi fight right after naruto wins i mean if sasukes goal is to destroy the leaf y not go to where almost the the leaf shinobi r headed

@12 Do not forget that all the kage are extremly weak and worn out after this battle. Honestly, Tenten could come in and ace them. And do not forget Sasuke has EMS Amaterasu now. And an enhanced Tsukiyomi. I agree with yoi when you say that he can’t defeat 5 kage head on, but they are really really weak now.

My point, they have grown to weak, a new fresh power, like everybodies favorite Uchiha will take over. The kage will be taken out by Sasuke (not killed, just taken out) after which Sasuke will proceed to defeat Madara.

Because Sasuke is not aware of everything in the war. I don’t see how he could possibly know all of the battle locations given that he killed Black Zetsu in an instant, and burned the White Zetsu without getting any real details… By the way, if Sasuke extracts more Intel of Kabuto he may be able to win against an Edo. Finally you should keep in mind the scroll of Suigetsu.

Yeah, Itachi would then be able to walk around freely, but was still bound by Edo Tensei. How come Madara is not dissapearing?

Looks like there’s only one way to end it now. Anybody else thinks Tsunade, or someone else, will pull out the shinigami and take Madaras soul like the third and fourth did?

But wat if sasuke teams up with the kages bcs they were like whoever stop edo tensei is a hero n he like oh dat was me n itachi soo im not a criminal anymore.. Then he kills madara with a sword of ameteratsu .. Then saves naruto ass at the last min

@16 sasuke does know where they are because white zetsu said where naruto is and thats where is comersdes r going and he said thats where he will go he might not kno exactly where it is but all those footprints heading that way cant be that hard to find

i accidentally came across some uchiha that might be (A VERY BIG “MIGHT”) a good candidate for who tobi actually is. some dude named kagami uchiha.
one of the 2nd hokage’s platoon members along hiruzen and danzo when they were being chased by the kinkaku squad. definitely an old dude by now. quite an overlooked character i must say. don’t know how to connect him to madara’s beef with the ninja world but i have a feeling this guy will appear again in naruto.

Hey quick question why does sasuke have to fight madara at all? i mean i have a feeling after his encounter with itachi he’ll kill kabuto because kabuto is still a pretty big threat not only to sasuke but the entire world. But i have a feeling after this sasuke will want to kill tobi because like itachi said tobi helped itachi kill the uchiha so thus is part of sasukes revenge plan

This chapter played out exactly how I expected it to. I figured Madara wasn’t leaving, but I am unsure why he is so freakin bitter. I guess it has something to do with the true nature of his death idk.
Tsunade saved by Dan was nice. And now her chakra is completely restore. I mean it must be considering Dan had unlimited chakra at the time before he disappeared.
It is killing me though that Tsunade doesn’t have a Sennin mode or some other jutsu beside the same tired one we’ve seen.
She’s still badder than Raikage to me though

Naruto 17 i dont think we have any reason to believe sasuke will join the fight against madara.
he has no reason to. He isn’t invested in the war anyway. His only goal was to take down the Leaf. He said to Itachi that he was still going to kill them, but if he changed his mind he will probably just go home. But I think his next mark are the rest of the leaf elders. Danzo down 2 more to go. I don’t really think he is after tsunade though.

Sasuke won’t join the fight against Madara, he will form a third party which has interest in Madara’s death.

Her instant healing tech is probably the slug variant of the Sage Mode. If she does not enter in it now, now that she has chakra, thats the assumtion we should be making.

Well, join the line, Kagami is somebody we discussed and discarded as a potential Tobi long time ago. He is to minor of character to be a candidate for being Tobi, he is not even relevant to the current cast…

That is true, but think of it this way: Tobi is present at the battle against Naruto, so it is logical that he fights against him. The Kages are one blow away from being dead, so another force has to come in to defeat him, which is Sasuke. Of course we do not know what strategy or jutsu he is going to use, but it is very likely that he is going to kill the root of the problem, Madara…

Suigestu found the scroll of the edo-tensei to revive his family back including his clan. Or if not probably, it’s a special justu just for sasuke that we will make him
Stronger. <——- that scroll is what can probably give sasuke a huge boost to kill madara if they were to fight? Anyone agrees? Or had same thoughts?

I meant that, what’s probably in the scroll. I didn’t say it happened and if you thought I did my bad. I forgot the chapter but he found the scroll and hid it in his clothes to give to sasuke it never said what was in it I’m

This is my belief on how they would get madara. Sasuke will come do izanami on madara about his obsession with the first hokage and madara will be locked forever in his mind, mean while sasuke will steal one of his eyes and become the ultimate super power

i guess kishi is going to bring back jiraiya soon now… or does anyone think that he is actually dead?! he was never seen dying and his body was never recovered, this is how the fight with madara is going to end… jiraiya to the rescue!!!

Someone wrote a spoiler saying that he has a friend at japan that told him that jiraiya is alive and comes back to battle and that naruto gets unbelievable powers. That naruto is gonna be the next Rikudou Sennin with the Rinnegan ( eyes ). I hope everything I read that day is true and for everyone don’t ask where I seen this at because I don’t remember what was the name for the website.

Another thing that should be mentioned, EdoTensei is originally the 2nd Hokage’s technique to begin with, if it’s that easy to escape the control then why didn’t he do so when Orochimaru summoned him to fight the Third?

Or maybe kishi really needed some way to keep madara and that was all he could think of

You raise a good point, but I think the answer to that is simple. Madara retained his free will during the war, whilst the emotions of the kage were taken.

I believe that was Mangafox or something, and most of the spoilers were incorrect. Its mostly speculation. And why would you want Jiraya back anyway? He died an honorable death, leave him there. Don’t try to dig him up much like everybody wanted Tobi back alive, leave them were they are, 6 feet under :/

@43 i agree i dont want jiraya to come back like theres honestly no place to put him anymore. like edo tensi has been defeated (expect for madara) no real point of having him come back unless like naruto is knocked unconious and like he visulies jiraya spuring him to wake up and win the fight to never give up or something like that. also not to add insult to injury but jiraya is alot more than 6ft under

yes i know jiraiya was impaled and disapeared in the deep waters but taht’s the point! he disapeared and we never saw his body… and kishi decided not to make kabuto revive him with edo tensei by using the excuse that the body was unreachable because he was buried in the ocean… that’s to much coincidence right ther… i have absolutly no doubt that jiraiya will come back!!! and lets be honest… kishi has been that predictable for quite some time.
