Naruto Gamecube and GBA Games Coming to North America
Posted by: Shikamaru @ 9:26 pm on 10/14/2005

1UP reports that we can expect games for Gamecube and GBA to hit next year. The game known as Gekitou Ninja Taisen will see release as “Clash of the Ninja.”

As to which ones we’ll be getting, the GC fighting game will be the first entry in the Naruto fighting series that’s approaching the number four in Japan. The US title for the game will be Naruto: Clash of Ninja and it’ll be landing in US during 2006 –most likely, the early half. But before the GC game is released, the first of the popular GBA side-scrolling action games will appear in the west under the title of Naruto: Ninja Council. Following the release of these two, Tomy is planning on bringing out two more titles by the end of the year: one being for GC and one being for GBA Hmm…I wonder if they could be the sequels…

The fourth in the Ninja Taisen series will see release later this year in Japan. Recent news from GNT 4 also seems to confirm Kisame, Kabuto and Kimimaro will be playable characters this time around.

that’s good to hear… tho i suspect many would have already got the jap versions~

i’m happy to see Kisame and Kabuto in GNT4 (Kimimaro… i reckon everyone should have expected him)

Shikamaru, which Naruto game have u played?

  2. Shikamaru Says:

    GNT 1-3 and NH 1.

  3. Shodai Says:

Note to all of you who have a Gamecube System: Do yourself a favor and get the Japanese version of GNT. You will not be disappointed.

  4. mythologia Says:

    totally agree with Shodai!!

to those who dont own a Gamecube: get the system and GNT4~

  5. Mr½Assed Says:

Why not get the English version?

  6. Shodai Says:

Because the Japanese version is so true to form. All the original voices from the anime are used in the game. Besides, why wait for the US version of GNT 4 with all the characters you want to play as when you can get it in a few months.
The first GNT only goes up to the Zabuza and Haku storyline.

  7. Alucard Says:

Oh man Shika, can’t wait for it to hit the US, me and my friends will battle every night!

  8. Shadow from ff6 Says:

well i can finaly play a narut game ^_^

  9. Kye Says:

Sounds like this game is gonna rock, I do wonder if the gameplay will be different from part 3, and also if the new abilities will corrupt our favorite characters from the previous edition. Who knows, it could do to 3 what 3 did to 2, wipe it off the map and out of everyone’s memories. I just hope the game will be what I’m expecting of it.

  10. Shiro Says:

This game looks like its gonna be awesome and i cant wait to play it!.
