i knew something like that would happen its been a long time that something was bugging me bout kurama. Half his power being inside naruto and half in the 4th hokage made me think there is a way to get it back after naruto grew up and this is how i guess or something maybe i am wrong in the naruto getting the other half but still my hunch was right…nice twist kishi

It’s been a while since there’s been a really good OMG moment. The manga definitely needed this kinda of twist. Just as it was starting to get a little stale, Kishi throws us a bone. lol

Very nice chapter, I was way off on what was gonna happen, but now we will see what knowledge the previous hokages will give to orochimaru and sasuke. First hokage might tell about the battle, second will inform sasuke about his reasons for putting the anbu over watch on the uchiha, third hokage will inform sasuke more on the assassination on the uchiha, and lastly, the fourth hokage will tell sasuke about the masked man and the attack of the nine tails. Reasonable theories.

Sasuke should practice with the previous hokage. Why has no charecter used edo to get training from the most legendary ninja they bring back..see this is why i like sasuke story always suprises. But if its with naruto it gets old corny and predictable

I LOVE IT. seriously i was not expecting that in the slightest and the way oro just revived them great plot hole find kishi. @7 i agree with u i have a feeling each kage will tell their portion of the story to sasuke so that he gets a full understanding from their point of view. Also i wonder if we will have a madara first fight now. or will oro use the previous hokage to fight with or against the alliance. tech both are his enemy but which is the greater threat to him. that is the question.

ONe reason no one has done it before was that oro unsealed them from the Reaper Death God before using Edo Tensei. And seeing that no one(as far as we know at least) could undo it.

I doubt we will see a fight including the third force until much later as Konoha is some time away from the region were the fighting were going on. We have not had a map view over where the battle grounds were in quite some time.
Who here believes that Kuruma`s yin part will be returned to Naruto as well?

@kross i agree somehow he is gonna get the yin charka. but i have a feeling like naruto is going to have to fight his dad first. and he is gonna be so proud he is gonna like break out of edo tensi to return to the real after life but before going transfer the charka into naruto somehow before he completly leaves.

omg i knew ive seen this concept of putting on a mask to release like a demon before. Has anyone else ever watched jackie chan adventures? ok well if u didnt’t they did something similar like if u put a certain mask on you can summon a spirit. ftr im not saying kishi stole this idea from jackie chan adventures i just knew i have seen it before but i couldn’t remember where until i looked it up online.

Whoa. Now it makes sense. The hokage would be the only ones to know everything. And mangahere gave me clues at the beginning by posting pictures and I didn’t figure it out till near the end. Great chapter. Now as far as Naruto getting the Yin chakra back, it sounds nice but it might be a bit far fetched still. But as we learned nothing is impossible when dealing with Kishimoto lol

Possibility 1: Orochimaru wants the rinnegan so badly that he fights sasuke.
. Orochimaru can control the juubi since he has the shodai’s cells!! Also, sasuke can take over the remaining zetsu and can obtain the rinnegan, as well as the ability to control the juubi. So essentially, Madara and obito will be replaced by sasuke and orochimaru.
Orochimaru’s aim was to obtain sasuke’s sharingan, and he was researching on hashirama’s cells, so possibly he might have wanted the rinnegan.
Now he has come half way up, i.e he took over zetsu’s body, which apparently is an entity made of hashirama’s cells. So he might also be having the ability to use mokuton jutsus, which was used previously to defeat madara, who had eternal mangekyou, and was the most powerful uchiha. Even though Orochimaru cannot be compared to hashirama, he’s still a powerful shinobi, so we can safely assume that he can fight sasuke, if anything untoward happens. He also summoned the most powerful kages ever(and they are under his control, edo tensei). So he has the added advantage over sasuke.
Possibility 2:Orochimaru decides to team up with sasuke and plans on taking madara’s rinnegan or obito’s sharingan.
Pretty simple. now that they have the most powerful kages, including hashirama, who might be of help in defeating madara. And then they fight the shinobi alliance no jutsu
Possibilty 3:
They join forces with madara and obito and try annihilating the shinobi alliance (although it wont happen).

Not going to lie but I had a feeling that Hashirama & Madara was gonna have to fight again, but not in a twist like this one. And I’m pretty sure there is a way the Kage’s are gonna find a way to break free from Edo-Tensei’s control. And Orochimaru thinks he is very slick, getting his arms back & taking Zetsu’s body so that he can have already have Hashirama’s cells before trying to take the Sharingan again but this time using all 4 Kage’s as his backup. Nice move Orochimaru but you forgot that the EMS can break the mind control the user has over the Edo-Tensei’s.

also naruto when returns to the village he says”this place hasn’t changed on bit”on the contrary sasuke says “this place has changed quite a lot” well its not his fault he didn’t know that pain had destroyed konoha’that reminds me of the OMFG! MOMENT in this chapter.I didn’t expect a plot twist like that.also now what impact will the hokages presence have on the war they can’t be disturbed just to tell sasuke bedtime stories,right?and they can’t join with madara and obito because that would shift the already shifted balance of power!they have to join with the shinobi alliance.

Since the second hokage is the creator of the edo tensei he should know how to undo it the madara right. And why did they have to do it in konoha. Why not right there when they got the mask. I understand it is a closed tight area so the zetsu clones couldnt escape, but is there some significanes to being there.

This chapter was awesome. To be honest, I got a little bored with the war so I was hoping Kishi would make a change to Sasuke and Alice Cooper. But this was truly unexpected.
First off, the masks at the Uzumaki temple are similar to the Shinigami’s face. Shiki Fuujin is a Sealing Jutsu, so this could indicate the Jutsu was originally created by the Uzumaki Clan, as they specialised in Sealing Jutsu. Easy thinking.

Yet it does make sense, since whatever can be sealed can also be unsealed in the Narutoverse, which in this case would be the Hokage’s souls. Kishi planned this out perfectly.
Now that Madara’s boyfriend, his brother, Hiruzen and Minato are back, I wonder what role they will play in all this. I agree with @7 for that matter, but I really hope Naruto will meet Minato once again. Kurama’s Yin chakra is still sealed within him and it’s only fair to the plot if Naruto obtained that as well. Aside from that it would be nice if Naruto could see his dad among the living (even if he is a zombie), likewise Sasuke’s final encouter with Itachi. It would be nice if the Hokage could talk some sense into Sasuke.
Yet, I still hope Sasuke will Edo Tensei the hell out of the Uchiha Clan and will march with them towards the battlefield to cleanse their name by defeating Madara and Obito and help the Shinobi Alliance. But I don’t think Sasuke will return to Konoha anymore after this, since that one panel gave me the idea he was giving his final farewell to the Leaf Village.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Hokage are used, and what information they divulge. It’ll be an emotional moment if/when the Hokage reach the war, especially with the 3rd and 4th. Usually don’t post in the manga section, but wow.

I get the feeling that naruto will get the yin chakra of the kyubii, by his father. I also think that the second and fourth should b able to escape the edo tensei tech. Y cause the second created it so he should know how to escape it and the fourth is a master of sealing tech he should figure out a way. If they dont then itachi realy is the sickest shinobi ever. Oro is a genious and hes also the main antagonist once madara and obito are gon hes gonna take over and thats when things are gonna really get good. Last thing kishi might make the kages fight to their full potential against madara and tobi i realy want to see the seconds teleportation tech

Just imagine this: what if you are waging a war and you would be able to summon any legendary warrior of your choice. Not just one, but all legendary warriors of your choice for that matter. Your enemy would stand no chance whatsoever.
In this case, one who has mastered all secrets of the Shiki Fuujin (such as Oro), could do anything he wants with anyone’s soul of his choosing. With that kind of power in hand, you can change wars into your benefit. Suigetsu is no retard, the scroll described each step required to unseal the Shiki Fuujin. He didn’t had the need of having the pre-knowledge about the technique. It was written inside the scroll as how to use it.

I just had a thought since Madara inserted Hashirama’s cells to get the Rinnegan, what if somehow Hashirama did the same with Madara’s cells to get the Sharingan & the Rinnegan? But I know that’s kinda far fetched since he didn’t use it against the third, but since he was being controlled by Orochimaru, Orochimaru probably didn’t know Hashirama had that power. But that’s just a theory since everything is getting so twisted, & intense…

Itachi 33 dats wot i wanted to say about the 2nd and 4th and i was the only one that predicted the unsealing of the death god.am so glad the fastest shinobi which happens to be one of the strongest shinobi to be reckoned with is back,when he has broken out of the e.t the 2nd will tell him how to unseal the death god and get back 9tail’s halve;oro really deserves a thumbs up for this technic,we are yet to see the full poyential of the rinnengan but oro will be the next after RS to maximize the rinne after he reads the tablets wit it.
The complete nine tails is special amongst tail beasts because its got RS chakra and eyes sealed into it alongside information which can only be unsealed by the jinchuriki that tames and gets it trust,that none has been able to do after RS passed on but naruto will either be completely transformed to be almost as powerful as rs before he became the ten tails jinchuriki or be able to summon him or be possessed by his soul when the seal is complete.

@ajxw well dont forget oro would have died from cutting open his stomach if well he wasnt oro. if almost anyone else did that would be a near fatal wound so there is some risk to doing that.

Ero senin needs to show up and realize the consequence of his ignorance abt what oro was up to and the rinne not being a genetic mutation.i would’nt mind to have nagato back on this war to figth in defence of jiraiya’s legacy.

Ok eventually oro and company are gonna head to the battle field.
Hashirama will have fun with Madara.
The fourth will fight naruto and maybe kakashi and obito.
The third will fight the older generation.
And the second will probably help the third.
After those battles, Naruto will get the other half of Kyubi’s chakra and will abuse it.
Maybe the fourth will convince obito to join the good guys.
Or maybe the fourth will reveal the truth of why kakashi killed rin. It will probably be that the fourth sent kakashi on some mission so its all his fault for rin’s death.
I dont even care about the truth of the Uchiha anymore, I just want to see the Hokages in battle now!

Maybe the means by which to remove the other chakra from minato is through the rinnegan ability ningendo, which also brings up one more point. Since minato has half of the nine tails chakra in him doesnt that make him a jinchuuriki. Technically he has the same seal as naruto which brings another point what happens if he rampages.

So did that little stunt release all those captured by the reaper death seal or just those choosen to be freed. Cause if it released all who are captured then that means that there is a mountain of nine tails chakra walkimg around if it is not in minato. If you can choose who to release and the chakra is still in the reaper how will naruto get it out if he is destined to have it.

It’s really hard to guess what will happen next. Madara probably has some like 6th sense for his boy friend Hashirama and will run off to fight him. But I honestly don’t want Naruto to fight his father. It would just be awkward to watch. People already say that naruto surpassed his dad. Even Kurama said so.

By achievements maybe, but I doubt that he can beat Minato all that easily. I have yet to see what Naruto can really do when it comes to speed. As I can remember Naruto used speed to dodge A when A set up a killing Intent to trick NAruto and when Naruto shielded Gai and Kakahsi.

Guys just an idea I had in mind a long time ago,could it be that when naruto recieves the other have of the chakra he would enter into a complete rikodou mode and maybe have a meeting with rikodou sennin and that maybe the turning point of the war for the shinobi alliance.what do you guys think.

@65 heres my reason why i dont think that will happen. its because he only has the 9 tails. i feel to re awaken the riduko sennin u would need the 10 tails which i feel is what the charka the other beast gave him will be used for.

@67 naruto is the only one who has a bijuu mode in which he looks somewhat like rikodou.right?no other jinchiruki so far in the anime has been seen in a “bijuu mode”.I think the rikodou sennin sealed something in the nine tails to later create another rikodou that would later help the narutoverse.he couldn’t have done so with the ten tails because he himself didn’t wanted anyone to “revive”.that’s further reasoning on my theory.

@68 ok ill agree on that fact. Although it could be that we saw bee forms before kishi had come up with an idea for what naruto would look like with the nin tails under his control. I mean yes i know its his show and naruto has to be speical and there is a better chance that u are right and im wrong but still. I dont want naruto to become more omipotent than he already is by becoming the next riduko sennin. also @71 i have a feeling they may do like they did with DBZ after shippuden is over kishi will stop naruto but the anime might contiune (naruto GT) with maybe something like that were naruto is hokage and konohamru is the protanginst.

@75 and @76 I think most of us are in agreement that the 5 Great Nations unite as one with one leader at the helm. My guess is Naruto. But as I said before while its certainly possible that Naruto will receive the Yin chakra (since with Kishi all bets are off at this point) but it still seems a bit far fetched to me since the Yin chakra wasn’t really sealed in Minato but rather the Reaper Death Seal. Now with orochimaru…would he still need Sasuke’s body being as how he transferred to a Zetsu clone? and if he find’s any of obito’s eyes wouldn’t he have achieved what he was ultimately looking for? and what if sasuke gets implanted with Hashirama cells? Then what?
