The wife of the ruler of the Honey Country has disappeared. Naruto (and others) are sent to find her, and discover an eerie castle. The group sneak into the castle to find clues, but the group starts to disappear one by one.
Episode 195 – 7/26/06
Third Great Beast, Greatest Rivalry
Lee has been diagnosed with a bad physical condition, so Tsunade tells him to take a day off. He gets down in the dumps without having a mission to go on, so Gai invites him to the Ninja Academy’s training hall to cheer him up. In there is a boy called Yagura that Gai has been asked to look after by an acquaintance.

Tearful Clash! Zealous Teacher-Student Showdown
Yagura is actually Oto, the youngest of three brothers of the Ryuudou Temple, whose father Gai defeated a long time ago. Gai is taken by the three brothers and Lee goes to save him, even with his own injury.

What was up with today’s ep? A guy that disguises himself as Gai, and then Lee in order to sneak into the village. Didn’t the fillers try that gag? Man, they’ve been going on so long they’re repeating themselves. Heck, even the “haunted castle” thing smacks of the insanely long arc where they chased that spirit warrior around. Leave the ghosts to Scooby Doo.

Stop saying that, that is in no way confirmed. That 197 title came out alongside a false 196 title. It is more than likely false too.

The ORIGINAL 196 title which came out alongside 197 had since been removed and updated on places like ANN, the wiki, etc.. So yes if you look today they have the correct 196 title. Originally they had a completely different and incorrect title. Please stop spreading incorrect info, because it’s people like you guys which cause so much confusion among fandom. We’ll update the title for 197 once we get it from an official JAPANESE source, rather than ANN, wiki, tv.com, etc. which can be updated by any idiot.
The problem with the current 197 Kakashi-sensei title is that no official Japanese source has printed it. That’s why you don’t see reputable people like us, Pazuzu and other episode title people posting it.

Kakashi’s birthday has not been confirmed as an episode title. It was posted on sites where anyone can post information, and for some reason, no seems to get that.
I know…blah blah blah Animenews says…I saw that. It’s not a reputable source.
Having said that, I go back to my meaningless little life, waiting for Studio Pierrot to justify my love of this series with some meaningful content.

No one said anything about the (non-existant) birthday episode having ANYTHING to do with Kakashi Gaiden. Not once. Its pretty much unanimous that if there is a Kakashi Birthday episode, its guaranteed to be filler.
But to state what has now been said 5 times, the title for episode 197 has not been confirmed.

ppl, episode 197 may be an introduction to kakashi gaiden (if is kakashi brithday , in the end of episode can do a sequel of kakashi gaiden)

I was just thinking to myself and was wondering what would it be like if these fillers ended today and I began to smile and say life would be back to how it was, smiling, laughing, crying and getting goose bumps when watching naruto….but no these ppl keep on tormenting us to death, I cant take it on ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh….
