Episode 197: 8/16/06 “Great Crisis! Konoha 11 All Assemble”
An old carpenter who got on well with Naruto, Gennou, stole plans for important facilities in Konoha. A long time ago, he worked as a ninja specialising in traps, but one day he went on a suicide mission. But since the plans were never found, Tsunade warns that whoever employed him may be planning an invasion of Konoha. While most of the ninjas in Konoha are sent for border defense, Tsunade gathers a team of 11, with Shikamaru as the leader, to remain in the village and search for the missing plans.
Episode 198: 8/23/06 “Even the Anbu Fail, Naruto’s Memory”
To find Gennou’s objective, an Anbu hypnotises Naruto to regress him back, but they can’t find what they’re looking for. At the same time, Tsunade receives word that the Waterfall Village are making large-scale manoeuvres near the border. She works to strengthen the border defense. Meanwhile, Shikamaru, who is following Gennou’s footprints, finds a strange inconsistency.
Episode 199: 8/30/06 “Missing the Mark, The Visible Target”
Shikamaru informs Tsunade that there’s a chance Gennou may still be alive. Shikamaru reasons that Gennou’s aim was to send a warning outside the village, and draws attention to the plans of the Ninja Academy, of which they haven’t been able to recover a single piece.

Uh, Disturbed Puppy, how can KG start at 150 when we are on episode 196 at the moment? I think that everyone should be thankful that the fillers have at least improved in quality. The last 4 episodes were not all that bad.

I’m not going to get my hopes up on KG being episode 200. The next couple titles don’t exactly look like a lead to KG but all we can do is hope I guess.

WTF??? Man someone needs to be fired. all this unconfirmed information is making it harder to believe anyone. At this point i wouldnt take anyones word unless it came from Naruto himeslf!

also how can it start a war against waterfall and it would have comed out as a flashback in the manga considering that on every mission kakashi gets his ass handed to him on every mission

somehow I don’t think much will come of this “war” it will be some mind game between waterfall and leaf, conceived by orochimaru or someone that leaf eventually become aware of, and the blueprints get found (in the village most likely) and thats the end of it. I bet Genin is being manipulated too. This is all thoretical though!

All I’m hoping for is that the fillers will be over before they air in America. That way, Toonami might (hopefully) bypass them all together.
