Arg, the suspense is killing me, who was the interviewed character? And, aside from that, I heard that the episode is not 1 hour long… how dissapointing…

I bet you anything the interveiwd character is Kakashi, in the preveiw at the end of last weeks episode it said it would be someone who hasn’t showed up for a long time, not a lot of people fit that category, unless its some random small character that barely had anything to do with the story, or they were killed or something. Or even the sand nins, one of them could be it I guess.

Ok, according to the message boards…
1. Someone who watched it said that it turned out to be normal air time, not 60 min.
2. The appearances were of multiple characters and were… Chouji, Kiba, Akamaru, Neji, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru and Sasuke (I’m not sure if the two appeared together or not).

my first post was off..
yea shika-kun is right.. sasuke was there, also for those people hoping to see the 90 minute special, don’t get ur hopes up to high because its not kakashi gaiden and naruto is in it.. so probably some kind of OAV/filler type.. there might be some connections to part 2 but i really doubt it because as far as i can tell from the preview, its just another filler.. but im watching it though, kinda interesting since its team 8 and hinata would be there..^_^;

Shika you can stop putting the links in. it gives the first part of the link and then cut’s it off after the / that leads onto the next line. Just copy the entire link and paste it into the address bar. You don’t have to continue to repost different links.
Though I did see the pics. This is very promising, we will see the end of the filler soon. Especially with that Sauske teaser.

Well, it seems that they’re practicing their drawings for Part 2, or maybe not. Who knows. Anyway, if they are, does this mean the end of the fillers is not far? Also, I still have a fishy feeling about the 90 minute special. I’m probaby wrong, but even after knowing it was confirmed to be a team 8 special, I still feel like the preview was fake…

no, the opening is the same, the only thing that has anything to do with the timeskip, is Sasuke sporting around in his new outfit, but that’s about it.

Same here… it wasn’t horrible, but it was kind of interesting. Either way, filler is filler, so it was nice to see something like this for a change. I just don’t understand how Jiraiya got into Orochimaru’s lair and how Orochimaru let him in, but, then again, if I was Orochimaru, I probably wouldn’t mind being on TV. I don’t understand where they went with this episode. You can’t make the roles of the characters actors and then put them in their characters again…

I am so pissed with the top 5. How did all but the #1 fight beat Drunk Lee VS Kimimaro… that was perhaps the best Taijutsu fight in the entire series and they excluded it… Not only did they leave that out, they showed the dullest part of the Neji VS Kidoumaru fight. They could have at least shown Neji finishing him off of killing the spiders with his 128 Points of Divination (forgot Japanese name >_>).

out of all the filler eps so far this had to be most tolerable and totaly agree with xNOCx… gaara vs naruto, lee vs gaara, neji vs naruto, shika vs temari didnt even see the light of day in the countdown, all top fights in my opinion.

Well, they said that the fighting ranks were based on votes…so I guess people just didn’t vote for all those other cool battles.
But I do agree that they showed the lamest parts of the battles that did make it. The entire episode was weaksauce save for Sasuke xD; -fangirl spasm- Though why Ero-senin would calmly interview Orochimaru is beyond my comprehension. AU much?

With that aside, I think there were many clues as to the end of the fillers, however, I don’t see them ending any time soon, unless these 90 minute special preview clips and episode titles are fake, then that would be the biggest surprise in all of anime history! I mean, come on, Naruto mention training to Jiraiya, We saw Sasuke in his time skip wardrobe, and they basically concluded Part 1 with the awesomely dramatic everyone’s-a-hero filler arc and then a recap on the 5 best battles. You would think that the next batch of episodes would be Kakshi Gaiden, right?

Sorry for the double post, but something happened to the first part of my post, let’s see if I can remember what it was…
Like I said, they should not have portrayed the characters as actors/actresses and then their own characters. What I mean by that is that first they had them talking to an audience and talking about how they watched Naruto on TV, then they had Sasuke with Orochimaru and Neji being sent on a mission to the studio. It would have been better if they had just stuck to one, preferably the actors/actresses one. I think it would have ben great to hav Sasuke come in the studio in a Hawaiian shirt and a drink in his hand talking about his vacation since he was let off the show for a little while. They showed them as actors/actresses in the original Special Report: Live From the Forest of Death” episode, so why couldn’t they have done it again? Indeed, that is what I was looking forward to, but they mixed up two otally different ways to view the show… shame on you tudio Pierrot, lol, but thanks or giving us the episode anyway…

I agree, only lame parts of fightes, specialy the #1 comon naruto vs sasuke and they showed 40s? of the two just doing rasengan chidori. it would be reallt hard to mess up an episode like that, they just needed to put the fightes, but they maneged to make it crappy…

ya, i really think they should’ve put them cool, kick ass fights in there, lee vs gaara, naruto vs neji, naruto vs gaara, gaara vs kimimaru, etc..oh well..it’s an episode closer to the end of fillers…
btw, i was wonderin if any of u guys are into AMVs? stupid question i’m sure, [i’m an amv FREAK,lol!]and if so, where do u get yours from [really good ones]

my best five would be the exiting parts of naruto vrs sasuke, shikamaru vrs temari, neji vrs hinata, lee vrs kimimaro, and itachi and kisame vrs asuma and kuranai
this episode didn’t really fit in with the story. i think the producers should have just stuck with making this special episode a talkshow thing, instead tying the storyline in with the episode. lol i dunno
