Episode 220 has aired in Japan, this marks the last Naruto episode. Yes, I know it’s sad. This is the last Naruto episode ever, it was a good run, the last two years have been beyond awesome. How can you forget the time Naruto peed on Ino or that time Akamaru went rabid and humped Naruto’s butt? So many awesome moments where Studio Pierrot took the series to the next level. Characters like Raiga and the multiple Houki’s, all fully-fleshed out characters with great emotional subtext and motivation. Who can forget the times Naruto took on powerful enemies and chose to attack them with kunai rather than Rasengan, or that time he chose to use Rasengan when his boat lacked a motor? Who can forget all those new exotic lands, like the Bear Country, with it’s power hungry Hoshikage or the Vegetable and Bird Countries, with their cross-dressing female leaders? Who can forget those evil groups full of powerful ninja, like Shinobazu, the Fuuma trio, the Kamizuru, the Criminal Brothers, the Shitenshounin and all those wandering ninja. Such a good run. We salute you Tiger Mizuki, may your orange fur never fade and may your cereal always be GRREEAAT!

Well, Shikamaru’s voerview of the entire two years made me giggle, I admit. And now i feel very giddy. the fillers ahve had their chance, they flunked the test, and now Shippuden is gonna ace the boards. SCORE!!

I can’t wait to see this episode. I’m considering it the first canon since it does deal with Naruto leaving. Goodbye fillers and good riddance!!!

I wonder if they’ll mix filler characters with the main storyline like Bleach is doing right now. On top of that, Bleach is adding/extending a lot of scenes that wasn’t in the manga. Will they do it with Naruto as well? I mean.. Kishimoto already did it once with Neji’s 128 strike that wasn’t in the manga.

I don’t get it. Are you trying to be sarcastic? It’s hard to tell how your saying it when it’s just text. Cause I’m more than sure that you’ve hated some of the Fillers. Granted a few of them were crappy, but others were actually pretty good.

wait i have a question. why doesn’t it show kakshi and obito? like their little story line blast into the past thing?
like for real i am excited for naruto but i kinda wanted to see kakshi and obito oh well

They will still show the Kakashi and Obito, they just moved it to another order of appearance. Moving certain scenes in another order is common among manga to anime anyway since I’ve seen it happen numerous times.
But man I’m going to miss the fillers….NOOOOOOT!!

This is great. finally! yet somehow depressing. our little Naruto growing up. Soon he’s gonna be a teen with rasen shuriken and kick butt! its been a long journy and it ended. How exciting! Ending are also beginnings, we just do’ny know that at times.
Skoralee, now we can rant about Shppuden together. Lets all cheer up and be happy. Im so happy!!!!!! Joy to the world!!!!

This is the end of Naruto as a series. Next week is the timeskip, where the anime follows the manga, and the series is being renamed Naruto:Shippuden.

I say we throw a party. Everyone come on over to my place, we’ll set up a big screen and projector, get out the nachos, and wear all of our Naruto paraphernalia! Whoever has his weird pajama hat gets extra points in my book. (Oh, and in my personal opinion, the Fillers WERE that bad)

Is it just me, or did Studio Pierrot screw up and put a scene (the one where Gaara and Kankuro talk about how Gaara learned the value of Bonds from Naruto, hence his desire to become Kazekage) that was not supposed to be there until after the timeskip? Weren’t they supposed to reminsce when Gaara was being kidnapped? *SIGH* I really hate this. They find every possible way to screw stuff up.

Yeah, this last one WASN’T the best filler (since several people here brought that up). IMO, the best fillers were Tiger Mizuki and episode 192 with Naruto’s “R-Kelly-no-Jutsu”. Although, Drunken Lee was pretty funny in the Raiga arc.
Meh. I give the win to Tiger Mizuki. Gotta love the “Frosted Flakes” jokes…

The thing with what Naruto did to Ino wasn’t funny, the beating that followed though with the princess was hilarious! So far the only really good Fillers in my opinion where the Sea Country Arc, the Bikochu Arc, and the Konoha 11 Arc. They should’ve ended the Fillers then.

Everyone rejoice, the fillers have finally come to a close! It’s because of the fillers I stopped watching the anime but now that they’re over, I’ll definately start again. I can’t wait for Shipuuden!

That was in the one where Ino was pretending to be a princess who had gained weight so that an arranged marriage would work. Naruto ended up on the roof peeing, Ino thought it was rain at first. It was a sad day for Naruto in my opinion.
