intresting chapter land of iron looks cool guarded by samurai ninjas wont touch it,ive been hoping to see konohamaru mak an appearence after the pain saga and the tsuchikage and mizukage get more screen time.

Okay, so we now have two new lands, Wood and Iron, revealed. The Kages are about to meet up. The Mizukage got pissed off again (got a marriage problem here…) And we now see the first introduction of samurai’s since the two from Hidden Mist. All in all this was a pretty revealing chapter so I say 4/5.

i just reallized something… the fox attack on konoha wasn’t because of the uchiha, it was probably danzou’s plan to make the leders think so and turn the village agianst the uchiha clan.
danzou must have gotten the sharingan many years ago and used it to control the fox to attack konoha.
and unlike most say, danzou isn’t madara or a real uchiha because his sharingan is allways activated (like kakashi’s) and that’s why he covers his eye.
but i would like to know how he got the sharingan… that’s the mystery!

kinda a let down from the previous chapter especially thanks to the introduction of samurai warriors. I got a bad feeling that sasuke is gonna do sumthing really stupid really soon

Its a verry interesting chapter, I was hoping for some more clues form Danzo’s Sharingang, but we just got 2 wait ^^ Cant wait for the epic battle with Sasuke vs Danzo!

Hey “Senju Says,” that would mean that Danzo was dressed exactly as Madara was, and that the 4th Hokage was weaker than him.
I’don’t think the 4th would have fallen for it.

It was all beat up, and it looked like something mechanical was attached to the wrist, and he did not seem to use it in combat.
I bet that what ever happened, or whatever replacement that is, it is only good for hand-signs.

If Naruto and Sasuke duke it out at the meeting,and Sasuke spills Danzo’s beans for all to hear, then he will lose the Kage’s support and maybe not be Hokage anymore.
Gaara will surely support Naruto, and that Mizukage seems to be a reformist, so she will probably support Naruto.
How much does anyone want to bet that Madara was the 4th Mizukage?

Not much with this chapter but everything’s building up. Since everyone will be heading for the meeting, it’ll be exciting to look forward to. Danzou and his Sharingan eh? I’m having this feeling that he and Madara are the same, or connected somehow. So much for the ‘underground’ affairs eh?
Kishimoto shows here the two faces of the ninja world. The somewhat placid surface and the dark, convuluted alleys that make up the underground.

I thought the assassins would Leaf Ninja wanting Naruto to be Hokage, but it seems that Danzo has plenty of his own enemies, Danzo seems confident that he’ll be in charge, but Sasuke has already arrived at the meeting place and is waiting for his opportunity, Gaara whooped Sasuke during Invasion of Konoha Arc, both have become much more powerful since then, I look forward to a rematch, and better yet Naruto’s rematch, and where is Killer Bee, his rapping is annoying but he kicks butt in a fight.

Haha, poor Ao…Mizukage keeps mishearing him and threatening to kill him :-P. And yay for Sai for choosing Naruto over the Foundation! I love Sai’s little smile, it’s so sweet! And now, Naruto is no longer being stalked by the ANBU, so he can make it to the Land of Iron moer easily!

no shocking revelations to make me jump out of my seat…damn.
anyway…so kishi-sama included a group of samurais…hmmm…i could sense a ddep foreboding here.
anyway again…those masked shinobis that danzou killed…eerily reminded me of that Oniwabanshu member (Rurouni Kenshin) who was also named Hannya (a comrade of Aoshi)
is kishi-sama plotting to pit the shinobis vs the samurai warriors? i know for a fact that these two kinds of warrior didn’t get along so well during the early days of Japan.

It seems that Madara was most likely the 4th Mizukage, due to the Mizukage’s reference to the Fourth Mizukage’s reign over “Bloody Mist”. The Land of Iron seems very interesting, to say the least. I’ve been reading about samurai lately.
Senju, your theory is actually pretty good. I never thought of how Danzou and Kakashi’s Sharingan are always active. That’s a pretty good theory about the Uchiha clan, too. In fact, isn’t Danzou one of the people who supposedly told Itachi to kill the Uchiha?

I thought the chapter was pretty good.Land of Iron looks great as well as the samurai’s they have as well..I got a feeling theirs going to be a big battle soon either Naruto vs Sasuke or Sasuke getting beat by one of the five kages.I also feel that Sasuke is going to do something pretty stupid.

Danzo has the Sharingan, okay, but it has been established that Madara Uchiha was controlling the Ninetailed Fox 16 years ago, and Danzo is NOT Madara. Danzo wants Sasuke dead, Madara wants Sasuke as his pawn, Danzo is going to meeting of the fives kages, Madara wants them dead, Danzo is targeted by Sasuke, Madara is the one who told him the truth about Itachi, why the hell do people think Danzo is Madara.
Does Danzo seriously think he’s in charge, “titles do not honor men,it is men that honor titles” is one of my favorite quotes, it means that a guy like Danzo is a disgrace to the other hokages, partly because all he seems to care about is power and controlling others, that’s not what being Hokage is about, it’s about protecting the village as a whole as if they were your family, all of the Kages (except Tsunade)died to save the village, they valued the lives of their people above their own and gave their all to protect them, be honest do you think Danzo would do such an honorable thing, I doubt it.
I want to see Naruto and Sasuke’s rematch, hopefully after Danzo gets some well deserved medicine (Sasuke style).

i think that Danzo got Sharingan from Obito…maybe Obito’s other eye wasn’t so damaged…
it was a good chapter…i hope kishi will make aome real action from now on!!

Not sure what to make of Sai…
Danzo seems mean, but I’m very curious to hear the story about him, Orichimaro and the Sharingan.
I’m also interested to see which fights will come out fo the Kage meeting. With all these new characters and some of the old one returning, it would be interesting to see who allies with who, if a fight should break out!
Wish there were more than one manga per week 🙂

Is it just me or did Danzo use his right arm/hand with the seals right in the beginning of the chapter to fight off those assasins?
Not only is he hiding his Sharingan, but he seems to be also hiding a right arm…

Interesting chapter, I’m curious about the samurai. By the way they were spoke of, sounds like samurai are stronger than ninja, or at least those ones are. They have four swords it looks like… I wonder how strong they are. o_O No doubt Sasuke will probably find out, I can’t see Naruto fighting them.
I wanna find out more about Danzo, his Sharingan, or him having it, is interesting.

Anyone else notice how Naruto is starting to look some-what like Danzo?
I’m sure that, as the new Hokage, information on Danzo is sketchy. At most, other people probably know “he has bandages on the right side of his face”.
Anyone else feeling like, at first, Naruto will be mistaken for the new Hokage? He is there before Danzo, after all…

Hey concerning Danzo and the sharingan what if he is itachi’s friend you know the one itachi killed to get the mangeyeko sharingan because you know Danzo could have told itachi to kill him and then take his eye because maybe one was damaged and he thought thaat one’s better then nothing

Wow, with both Naruto and Sasuke heading for the meeting both unaware that the other will be there means there’s definetely going to be some fireworks. I cant wait to see how the Kages act together and what gets decided too.

Dont forget, Madara also covers his face and has the one eye hole where his sharingan is. The jury is still out, however, I read a spoiler that clues on Sasuke and Danzo and how just the appearance of Danzo triggers the Sharingan, so who knows.
I like how Kishi brought Konohamaru in, and how he showed Naruto giving his approval to him. Naruto is really growing up by leaps and bounds and he’s not about to stop. The Raikage is not going to be moved by humility, but knowing that Naruto is the same one who defeated Pein may gave him so weight with the kages. I wonder if word got to Gara? heh, Naruto is still a Genin and he’s the most powerful shinobi on the block. Thats just wrong. C’mon Kishi, promote the kid already. He’s way beyond a chunnin and should be in the same class as Kakashi and Tenzo er Yamato

i thought danzo lost his arm if its all good why does he need something kabuto has i hope saskue dies lol saskue thinks he is really strong because he beat 2 akatski members and a jinjuchki but he only beat deidara because he had lightning affinity and the sharingan if he didnt have one of those he would have died and itachi (is the strongest character in entire series) he lost because he was already ill and he was holding back (saskue your are a loser just like diedara said a fool mistaking his heritage for his own power) and that black jinjuchki was five steps ahead from the start the only thing you have over naruto even without the kyuubi power is more jutsu and speed

I don’t think Danzou is Obito at all sure they sharingan in the same eye and his other eye is wierd but still Kakashi’s age: about 30 and Danzou’s age: 72. Yeah, something isn’t right here.
