Kakashi Gaiden is finally here!… After many long years of wait, the side-story is finally animated! Episode 119 and 120 are titled Kakashi Gaiden – A Boy’s Life on the Battlefield.

I have to say, as a person who doesn’t read the manga, this was a great side story and answered some questions about kakashi. I love the animation and it was great seeing the fourth hokage in action. I’m glad it got animated.

it was awesome. and im glad they showed both episodes on the same day. i think that it was kinda wrong when kakashi told rin about obitios feelings and she just blew him off and only cared about the feelings she has for kakashi.

I loved this episode. For years, I have been waiting for the Kakashi Gaiden, and it has finally come out. I was glad to see it, and seeing what happened, I was saddened a bit by the way Obito died. It was so sad, even though I saw the manga, he was a good friend.

they couldnt have done a better job of portraying there characters
in one episode we were given so much info on kakashi, kakashi’s father “the white fang”, the fourth hokage, obito, and ren..
it also reveales the key to the chidori and how it requires more then speed n lighting element to master… wow just wow

Wow…subarashi~~!~!~! what is the move that 4th hokage use to attack his enemy? I can’t remember… His bag not even drop to the ground and he’s already attacking his enemy…Awesome…Just awesome….Wish that naruto will learn that too…

Kakashi Gaiden was awesome! Poor Obito, though. I wish he didn’t die. He was awesome. May he rest in peace.

probably one of the best naruto eipsodes in a very very long time. I am so glad they decided to animate Kakashi Gaiden. You kind of wonder what kind of team Kakashi and Obito would have made if Obito never died. Although I read the manga, its just nice to see this finally animated, much props to the animation studio for doing it.

made me cry buckets! Kakashi’s history sure is filled with sorrow. His dad dies, his friend dies, hes got nobody, I wish he gets a girlfriend!(if ever, I hope its the mizukage… shes pretty and hot!)
seeing Minato in action was just awesome! I hope naruto learns the teleporting technique, its just right since his dad had the same technique and besides, it would be a greater advantage cause he is the jinchuriki

this was a awesome episode kakashi kid was voiced well when he cried for obito that was the true kakashi coming out.

Outstanding. Truly excellent. This kind of stuff is what made Naruto a great anime, and what seems to largely have disappeared after the first couple of years.

the only bone i have to pick with it, is that they said yondaime’s name. in the manga you don’t learn it at kakashi gaiden you learn it much later. other than that it goes at the top of the list of the best naruto episodes ever.

It’s was by far a great episode and it probably answer the questions and speculations about Danzou being Obito. Remember Obito’s entire side of his body and face was crushed. Meaning his right eye was crushed as well.

it was good, but not the best naruto special, it was good to see Kakashi’s Story of his Sharingan finally animated though, it was better than reading the manga version
